Facilitation and Coaching Refinement

September 9-13, 2026

This advanced in person class is for people who have completed at least one of our 5 day Programs and is part of our SkyHorse EGE™ certfication program. It is also open to people who have graduated from our SkyHorse EGE™ certification program to get advanced training and mentorship in the art of coaching and/or EGE.

In this advanced class, we will learn and practice:

  • The art of coaching and how it correlates with Equine Guided Education.

  • How to work with the principles that were set forth in EGE-1.

  • How to create a supportive learning environment for a variety of situations.

  • How the phases of learning influence activities and the change process.

  • How to set up exercises and hold the space of learning

  • Facilitating activities that are relevant to the type of offer you are or plan to do.

  • The art of timing — knowing when to offer feedback and when to stay quiet and let the horse do the guiding. This is a unique and important aspect of EGE.

Participants will practice leading sessions and somatic exercises throughout the 5 days to get feedback and practice giving and receiving feedback. Each participant will get coach mentoring from Ariana and SkyHorse staff, specific to their goals. Participants will work on refining their teaching points—themes/topics they want to cover in their programs and/or 1:1 work.
